WoW Midnight patch 12.1.5 arrives October 13
Blizzard has announced that Midnight patch 12.1.5 releases with weekly maintenance on October 13 in North America and October 14 in Europe — the one-day gap is the usual regional reset difference, not two separate patches.
What the update adds
- New raid — The Unbinding of Kith’ix. A single-boss raid available in Story, Normal, Heroic and a flexible Mythic difficulty (15–25 players).
- Labyrinth of Kindo’jan. A sprawling, mega-dungeon-like experience across nine chambers, with Tier 11 solo challenges and Mythic-level gear rewards.
- Season 2 mid-season refresh. The refresh begins the week of October 6: Keystone Myth returns with a 3,600 rating requirement, and the Crest cap is lifted the week of October 20.
- Aqir Invasion. A zone-wide world event in Eversong or Zul’Aman — a series of public events across the zone, one after another, before an intense boss fight.
- “The Promise of Tomorrow” campaign. The story returns to Quel’Thalas and Zul’Aman.
- New systems. Ascendant Venomstones for weapon, trinket and necklace upgrades, and a weekly Nebulous Voidcore bonus roll.
What changes on this site
Updated October 17: 12.1.5 is live, and our World of Warcraft checklist now covers it after an in-game check — the Kith’ix raid lockout, the weekly extra Nebulous Voidcore and the Aqir Invasion weekly reward on the weekly list; the campaign, Kith’ix, the Voidcore and Venomstone quest chains, the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan and Keystone Myth as one-time steps; and Ascendant Venomstones on the Season 2 ladder. The Labyrinth has no weekly cap or lockout, so it sits with the one-time steps rather than the weekly list.
