Granblue Fantasy: Relink — Complete Farming Guide

Updated ✓ verified in-game

The Granblue Fantasy: Relink progression route tells you what to do next. This page tells you where to farm the materials that route asks for — matched to the stage you are actually at, because the best farm for a resource changes completely as you climb the Skyfarer Grades. Current for Endless Ragnarok 2.0.4.

The single most important rule on this page: farm the highest difficulty you can clear quickly — not the highest you can clear. A 45-second quest your AI party overpowers beats a four-minute boss fight for almost every farmable resource. Get this one wrong and you will waste hours.

On the numbers. Yield figures below (crystals per run, vouchers per clear) are approximate, player-tested community estimates. They swing with clear speed, party and RNG, and are not official Cygames values — treat them as ballpark, not guaranteed. The one thing that is official is the design of The Conflux’s rewards, called out where it applies.

The endgame farming loop

Once you reach the Endless Ragnarok endgame, stop farming by habit and farm by bottleneck:

  1. Identify your bottleneck. Character → MSP / Master Traits. Weapon → Transcendence. Sigils → Chaos / Conflux. Summons → Chaos / Fatebreaker. Generic upgrade mats → Conflux.
  2. Farm the narrowest source. Don’t run a generic quest if a specific Conflux Cycle or boss targets the material directly.
  3. Wishlist the next upgrade. Use the in-game material tracking to find the secondary drops you still need.
  4. Prefer overlap. The best farm advances two or three systems at once — Conflux Cycle 3 gives rare sigils and weapon uncap and awakening materials in one run.
  5. Stop when the upgrade is done. Don’t grind 500 of something because a 2024 guide said it was valuable — Endless Ragnarok rewrote the economy. Move to the next bottleneck.

The Conflux is your general-purpose farm

This is the part Cygames designed explicitly, so it is the backbone of the whole page. The early Cycles are split by purpose:

Conflux Primary purpose
Cycle 1 Weapon forging materials
Cycle 2 Sigil upgrade materials
Cycle 3 Weapon uncap + awakening materials + rare sigils
Deeper Cycles Endless Ragnarok endgame progression

Don’t just farm the deepest Cycle you have unlocked — farm the one that matches your bottleneck:

That single distinction — better sigils (Cycle 3 / Maniac / Proud / Chaos) versus materials to upgrade the sigils you have (Cycle 2) — saves more wasted time than any yield number on this page.

EXP & character levels

During the campaign, don’t farm EXP at all. Story quests, Fate Episodes and first-clear side quests level you fast enough, and your progression unlocks matter far more than raw levels. Just keep your four primary characters reasonably leveled.

Midgame → Slimepede (Maniac). The classic Relink leveling farm: waves of slimes against a time limit, and it gives EXP + MSP together. Use it when leveling a new character toward 100, leveling several at once, or catching new Endless Ragnarok characters up to your original roster.

Rating — EXP: ★★★★★ while leveling.

MSP

MSP matters again in Endless Ragnarok because you are developing extra characters and the new progression systems.

The loop: not Maniac yet → normal progression · Maniac → Slimepede · Chaos → whatever clears fast · Chaos+ → Revenge of the Hordes + Path of Mastery.

Rating — MSP: ★★★★★.

Fortitude Crystals

Weapon development eats enormous quantities across a full roster, so this stays relevant a long time.

Route: Extreme (Great Goblins of Fire) → Maniac (Revenge of the Hordes) → efficient Chaos content → Chaos++ (Survival of the Fittest).

Rating — Fortitude Crystals: ★★★★★.

Knickknack Vouchers & Rafale Coins

Assault Formation! (Extreme) is the classic, accessible farm. Enemies drop Machine Units and High-Grade Scraps, which you exchange for vouchers through Siero’s Treasure Trade. Approximate, player-tested: strong endgame runs have produced roughly 200 vouchers per run — a ballpark.

Method: run Assault Formation! → kill fast → collect Machine Units and High-Grade Scraps → repeat → Treasure Trade the excess for vouchers.

The same quest is a strong Rafale Coin and general catch-up farm, because one run feeds several economies at once — Rafale Coins, Machine Units, High-Grade Scraps, vouchers and general materials.

2.0 caution: don’t over-farm vouchers once you are deep into Endless Ragnarok. High-end Chaos and Conflux progression hands you more directly useful equipment, so generating piles of random low-value sigils becomes inefficient. Use vouchers when you actually need sigil fodder, transmutation or synthesis resources.

Rating — Assault Formation! (vouchers + materials + catch-up): ★★★★☆.

Curios

Curios matter because appraisal is a route to several desirable sigils and Wrightstones. Hard+ quests can award them; Maniac/Proud make acquisition reliable.

The trick is speed, not difficulty: farm the fastest Maniac/Proud quest your AI party can reliably repeat, not the hardest. A 30-second quest beats a four-minute boss fight when your goal is simply generating repeated reward rolls. Relink’s AI is competent enough that a strong three-companion team plus a durable controlled character makes this near-AFK.

Sigils

Early game — don’t farm sigils. Use whatever good ones you pick up.

Maniac / Proud — early endgame targets. Start pulling for the traits that let you clear Proud reliably: Damage Cap, Critical Hit Rate, Stamina, Tyranny, Potion Hoarder, Improved Dodge, Aegis, Guts, Autorevive, Quick Cooldown, Cascade. The goal is enough useful traits, not perfection.

V → V+. Once you are comfortable in Maniac/Proud, replace V with V+ wherever the secondary trait genuinely improves the build — e.g. Damage Cap V+ with a useful secondary instead of plain Damage Cap V. This compresses more traits into fewer slots.

Rare sigils — Conflux Cycle 3. Cygames identifies Cycle 3 as a source of rare sigils plus weapon uncap/awakening materials, which makes it an excellent transitional farm: unlock Maniac → unlock Cycle 3 → farm it whenever you need both sigils and weapon materials. That combined pool beats farming either resource alone.

Sigil upgrade materials — Conflux Cycle 2. If your bottleneck is upgrading the sigils you have rather than finding new ones, farm Cycle 2. Keep the two apart: need better sigils → Cycle 3 / Maniac / Proud / Chaos; need to upgrade existing sigils → Cycle 2.

Wrightstones

An optimisation layer, not an early requirement. Don’t hunt perfect Wrightstones before Proud — look for combinations that complement your build, especially Critical Hit Rate plus a useful offensive/utility trait. The progression rule, in order:

Don’t reverse that order.

Silver Centrum

One of the major original bottlenecks, because weapon development burns through them. Available from Maniac/Proud quest drops and Treasure Trade routes.

Philosophy: don’t grind a slow quest just because it has a good Centrum table. Farm fast Maniac/Proud bosses whose materials also convert toward Centrum, so every run produces a direct Centrum chance plus boss materials, trade materials and other upgrade resources. Golemology 103 is a useful original-game option because its materials feed additional Treasure Trades while keeping a Centrum chance.

There is no single dominant route here — clear speed and which secondary materials you need matter more than the raw drop table.

Rating — Silver Centrum: ★★★★☆.

Weapons: forging, uncap, awakening

Terminus weapons & Ultimate Memory

This changed substantially with Endless Ragnarok. Proto Bahamut in The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage (Proud) is still the classic Terminus source — but 2.0.2 added forging Terminus weapons at the Blacksmith using Ultimate Memory, so you no longer depend on the old random grind.

Modern route: clear Proto Bahamut → acquire Ultimate Memory → forge the Terminus weapon you actually want → Awaken → eventually Transcend. Far better for targeted progression.

Ultimate Memory farm: The Tale of Bahamut’s Rage (Proto Bahamut, Proud). Farm until your main has its Terminus, your important AI DPS has one, other primary AI have appropriate endgame weapons, and — eventually — you fill the roster collection.

Don’t farm every character’s Terminus before starting Endless Ragnarok. Get your main and core team equipped and keep progressing.

Terminus Awakening materials: a mix of Conflux Cycle 3, required boss materials, Silver Centrum and character/weapon-specific requirements. This is where the in-game Wish List pays off: add the desired upgrade, wishlist the missing materials, search quests by required treasure, and run the quest that covers the most missing materials at once — far better than memorising every drop table.

Endless Ragnarok systems

Once you reach Fatebreaker, stop thinking in isolated base-game quests. Your primary loop becomes: The Conflux for bulk/progression materials, Chaos / Fatebreaker quests for targeted boss materials, sigils and endgame resources, and old Proud content only for specific legacy materials.

Weapon Transcendence. After the ER endgame opens, Transcendence becomes one of your biggest material sinks — all weapon types except bonus weapons can be Transcended, which unlocks additional traits and lets certain traits be swapped. Loop: Deep Conflux ↔ Chaos/Fatebreaker bosses. Priority order: main → best AI DPS → AI support → fourth party member → alternate mains → rest of roster. Don’t partially Transcend 20 weapons — one very strong character farms everyone else’s materials faster.

Master Traits. Unlock after reaching Fatebreaker with Lv. 100 characters. Priorities: main → AI DPS → AI #2 → AI #3 → secondaries. For the MSP that feeds them, Revenge of the Hordes — Chaos+ with Path of Mastery is the clean loop: need MSP → Revenge of the Hordes; need Master Trait-specific materials → the relevant Chaos / Conflux content.

Summons & Primal Bursts. Summons unlock when you begin the Endless Ragnarok story and obtain your first Summon, usable in Chaos difficulty or higher. Don’t stall progression perfecting your first one: obtain first Summon → unlock Fatebreaker → continue Chaos → collect more → build four useful options → upgrade the ones your main uses → then optimise alternatives. A functional four-Summon loadout beats one hyper-invested Summon and three dead slots.

Mirage Munitions. A late stat-optimisation layer — don’t prioritise it early. Farm order: character progression → weapon → sigils → weapon awakening → ER systems → Mirage optimisation. You accumulate plenty naturally while doing endgame content.

Rupies

Eventually a background resource, not the main bottleneck. Early: complete side quests and sell unneeded treasure. Midgame: Assault Formation!, because its drops also support your voucher economy. Endgame: don’t run a dedicated Rupies farm unless you are completely broke — farm the materials you actually need and sell/convert the excess, so you get progression materials + Rupies rather than Rupies alone.

Near-AFK / low-input farming

Relink’s AI is unusually good, which makes low-input farming viable. Build companions around survivability, reliable damage, low mechanical dependency and good skill usage, then give them Damage Cap, Potion Hoarder where appropriate, Aegis, Guts, Autorevive, damage traits and appropriate cooldown traits. Then repeat a fast quest.

Farm content your AI can overpower, not content it barely clears — a 45-second quest with virtually no failures beats a three-minute high-end boss.

What NOT to farm
