Guild Wars 2: "Code of Creation" caps off Visions of Eternity
Guild Wars 2’s Visions of Eternity expansion wrapped its story arc on September 15, 2026 with “Code of Creation,” its final quarterly release. What it adds:
- New map: Leyspring Hollows — the finale zone in the Castora region.
- Six climactic story chapters concluding Visions of Eternity.
- Raid encounter: Nexus of Eternity and a matching Convergence: Nexus of Eternity.
- Fractal: Solitary Throne.
- Mastery line: Rift Amplification — four tiers (Rift Tears, Overcharged Rifts, Tearing Across Tyria, Overcharge Tyria) that change how you engage rifts across Tyria.
- Legendary sword: Wages of Stars, the Tenebral Ward armor and Shining Ward weapon sets, and a Wizard’s Vault seasonal refresh.
ArenaNet also noted the studio is pausing new expansions to focus on the Hall of Monuments and quality-of-life work, so this is Visions of Eternity’s last content drop.
The new raid, Convergence and fractal fold into the existing weekly and daily rotations rather than adding new timers — our Guild Wars 2 checklist already tracks them, and its One-Time list now carries the Code of Creation unlocks: Leyspring Hollows, the story chapters, the Rift Amplification mastery, and the new raid and fractal first-clears.
