Missions and Delvings
Missions are the backbone of the current daily loop — most Mission pools contain missions completable once per day, and they feed three separate weekly wrappers at once. Do not count them separately: running Missions naturally clears On a Mission (15) and On a Continuing Mission (45), and running them AS Delvings simultaneously advances the three Delving wrappers. Update 49 improved level-160 Delving Mission rewards including incomparable armour, and Update 49.3 corrected Mission monster scaling that Update 49 had broken by accident.
- priorityRun your daily MissionsPace them against the weekly targets of 15 and 45 rather than clearing every available Mission. Also a solid source of Legendary Item Reward Track XPReward Mission rewards plus Legendary Item XP
- Run eligible Missions as DelvingsDelving the Missions you were going to run anyway is free progress on three weekly wrappers. Tier 6+ is what Delve Into the Darkness needsReward Improved level-160 Delving rewards including incomparable armour
Featured Instance
⚠️ The ROTATION changes Monday at approximately 10:00 AM Eastern — which is NOT the daily reset and is deliberately not modelled as one, because it changes which instance is featured rather than when your quest clears. Update 49's roster is seven instances: Great Barrow — The Maze, Sarch Vorn, The Black Grave, The Court of Seregost, Halls of Night, The Ruined City, and Ost Dunhoth — Disease and Poison Wing. Worth doing at level 160 specifically: the cap-level reward boxes can drop Mûr Ghala Craft and Heraldry recipe selection boxes for level 151+ recipes.
- Complete the Featured Instance daily questWhichever instance is currently featured. The quests now award normal XP as well as Legendary Item XPReward XP, Legendary Item XP, and level-160 boxes that can contain Mûr Ghala recipe selection boxes
Level 160 — Mûr Ghala
The current level-cap landscape loop, introduced with Kingdoms of Harad. These are a rotating regional board rather than a fixed list, so this is one entry rather than sixteen — you take what the board offers, not all of it. Quests seen in the rotation include A Kit for Rune-reading, Acid for Acquiring Assets, Assessing the Blight, Attacking the Blight, At the Carrion Roost, Keeping Up Inspections, Lay Them to Rest, Managing the Land, More Wood for Trade, Respect for the Dead, Taking the Fight to Them, Terror at Abníshu, To Restore the Lodes, Taken in the Night and A Threat from Ancient Times. They feed the Defending Mûr Ghala and Further Defence of Mûr Ghala weeklies in the weekly bucket.
- priorityClear the Mûr Ghala regional dailies on offerTake whatever the regional board is showing. These are what feed both Mûr Ghala weeklies, so skipping them stalls the weekly progression as wellReward Commendations and Mûr Ghala reputation
Ettenmoors and PvMP
Update 49 reopened and substantially reworked the Delving of Frór. SSG's notes describe commanders at two locations offering four new quests each — three dailies aimed at enemy players, the lesser creatures in Gaergoth's menagerie and Gaergoth's lieutenants, plus a weekly Gaergoth kill which is in the weekly bucket. The rework also added new entrances and exits, so the Delving now doubles as a fast underground route across parts of the Ettenmoors. Relic capture moved into the Delving and the artifact and siege systems were revised; holding relics can improve movement speed, damage, Commendations and Glory or Infamy.
- priorityComplete the three daily Delving of Frór questsOne against enemy players, one against the lesser creatures in Gaergoth's menagerie, one against his lieutenants. SSG states outright that these help Monster Players advance the Reward TrackReward Monster Player Reward Track progress and Commendations
- optionalTake part in relic and siege objectivesOptional and driven by what is happening on the map. Relic capture now runs through the Delving of Frór, and the ballista and battering-ram variants are part of the revised siege systemReward Movement speed, damage, Commendations, Glory or Infamy
Crafting and Tasks
The Umbar Craft Guild daily needs Umbar Guild Member status first, and each profession has its own daily recipe quest. Five daily completions in a week is what triggers the weekly reward, so this is the daily half of a weekly objective rather than a standalone chore. Task capacity is upgradeable — check your own cap rather than assuming.
- Do your Umbar Craft Guild dailyRequires Umbar Guild Member status. Do it at least five times across the week to trigger the weekly rewardReward Guild reputation, and progress toward the weekly
- event onlyWork any active Crafting Event tasksForester and Hard Tack crafting events run periodically rather than permanently — check the events list to see whether one is live right nowReward Event crafting rewards
- Use your daily Task allowanceTurn in eligible trophy and task items at Task Bulletin Boards. Your allowance is upgradeable, so check your own capReward Reputation, character XP, Legendary Item XP and Task deed progress
Farmers Faire — until Sep 8
⚠️ A Salutation to Faire Days needs **12 days**, not 15. SSG's own Farmers Faire guide still says fifteen, but the Update 46 release notes state verbatim that the wrapper 'will now take 12 total days to complete rather than 15'. The release note is the change record and wins — do not correct this back from the guide. Fun at the Faire is completed by finishing A Sunny Faire Day five times. Staddle Besieged is six quests plus a festival-only daily wrapper. Boss from the Vaults: Thrâng is minimum level 50 and drops the Forged Rift-iron Coins that Seasonal: The Coins of the Rift needs; The Perfect Picnic starts at level 10.
- ends Sep 8Complete A Sunny Faire DayTake part in ten Farmers Faire activities. This is the quest that drives both wrappers — 12 days of it completes A Salutation to Faire Days, and five completions finish Fun at the FaireReward Farmers Faire Tokens and Legendary Item XP
- ends Sep 8Complete the Staddle Besieged daily wrapperShrews and cave-claws threatening the town — six quests plus a wrapper available only during the FaireReward Festival rewards

Legacy hubs — only if you want them
Twenty years of daily hubs are still running and NONE of them is required for level-160 progression. Enumerating them would bury the entries above, so this is one entry: Hytbold and East Rohan reconstruction, Wildermore, Dol Amroth City Watch, Central Gondor and Old Anórien, Minas Tirith, Pelennor and North Ithilien, Mordor Allegiance and Gorgoroth, the Dale-lands and Ered Mithrin, Minas Morgul and Wells of Langflood, Elderslade and War of Three Peaks, Gundabad, and King's Gondor and Umbar regional repeatables. Go to them for reputation, cosmetics, deeds, housing items or a specific currency — not because a tracker says to.

Mission wrappers
These two stack — the 45 counts the same Missions as the 15, so clearing On a Continuing Mission clears On a Mission on the way. Depending on which Mission packs you own, older regions such as Gundabad and War of Three Peaks carry their own additional wrappers that stack on top of both.
- On a Mission15 non-seasonal MissionsReward Weekly wrapper rewards
- priorityOn a Continuing Mission45 non-seasonal Missions. The same runs count for both wrappersReward Weekly wrapper rewards
- Clear any expansion-specific Mission wrappers you ownOlder regions can carry their own weeklies on top of the universal 15 and 45 — check which of your Mission packs have one rather than working through a listReward Regional wrapper rewards
Delving wrappers
All three carried forward into the level-160 era. Delve Into the Darkness wants Tier 6 and above; Delve Deepest includes group and three-person Delving progression, so it is the one that needs planning rather than accumulating.
- Delve DeeperThe entry-tier Delving wrapperReward Delving rewards
- Delve Into the DarknessHigh-tier objective — Tier 6+ content is what countsReward Delving rewards
- Delve DeepestIncludes group and three-person Delving progression, so it needs people rather than just timeReward Delving rewards
Embers and Virtues
From the Ashes Comes Virtue is obtained from Embers traders, and both the wrapper and its six subordinate quests reset each Thursday — so a week missed is the whole set, not just the wrapper. Craft for Embers remains a worthwhile weekly Embers source at level 160, and Umbari ingredients work for the current version.
- Complete From the Ashes Comes Virtue0 / 6Pick up from an Embers trader. The wrapper needs its six Ember-for-Virtue-XP quests underneath itReward Virtue XP
- Complete Craft for EmbersCraft an eligible Ember-worthy Craft. Umbari ingredients can be used for the current versionReward Embers of Enchantment
Craft guild and Tasks
The Umbar Craft Guild weekly is not picked up — it triggers off five completions of that guild's daily, so it is earned across the week rather than done in one sitting.
- Finish the Umbar Craft Guild weeklyTriggered by completing the guild's daily quest five times during the weekReward Virtue XP, Guild Tokens, Luck-stone Settings and a reward picker box
- Complete The Tasks at HandThe weekly Task-system wrapper, bestowed through Task Board activityReward Task wrapper rewards
Level 160 — Mûr Ghala landscape
Both landscape weeklies are fed by the Mûr Ghala regional dailies in the daily bucket, so they complete themselves if you keep the dailies going. The four regional boss objectives are fellowship content and are grouped as one entry with four parts because they are a set you work through rather than four unrelated quests.
- Complete Defending Mûr GhalaThe main landscape weekly, fed by the regional dailiesReward Mûr Ghala progression
- Complete The Further Defence of Mûr GhalaThe second landscape weekly, fed by the same dailiesReward Mûr Ghala progression
- Clear the Mûr Ghala regional boss weeklies0 / 4Fellowship objectives tied to the regional progression systemReward Regional boss rewards
Level 160 instances and raids
⚠️ LOTRO does NOT put every raid on a single weekly lockout — some content uses separate loot and chest locks per tier. If you are actively raiding, read the lock panel for the tier you are running rather than assuming this bucket covers it. The Advanced wrappers are the higher-tier versions of their Challenges counterparts, not separate content.
- Complete Challenges of Mûr GhalaThe current level-cap instance wrapperReward Instance rewards including Embers
- Complete Advanced Challenges of Mûr GhalaThe higher-tier version of the same wrapperReward Improved instance rewards
- Complete Challenges of the Folly of NagakhêdiThe current level-160 raid progression wrapperReward Raid wrapper rewards including Embers
- Complete Advanced Challenges of the Folly of NagakhêdiThe higher-tier challenge progression for the current raidReward Improved raid rewards
- Check your raid and instance chest locksSeparate loot locks exist on some content, so the lock panel is the authority on what you can still earn this weekReward Avoids wasted runs
Ettenmoors
The one Delving of Frór quest that is weekly rather than daily — the other three are in the daily bucket.
- Defeat GaergothThe weekly Delving of Frór objective, distinct from the three dailiesReward Monster Player Reward Track progress
Featured Instance rotation
⚠️ This rotation changes MONDAY at approximately 10:00 AM Eastern, which is not the Thursday weekly reset — so this entry will clear on Thursday while the rotation it refers to turns over on Monday. It is a prompt to go and look at what changed, not a lockout. Worth the look at level 160 because Update 49 added Mûr Ghala recipe selection boxes to cap-level Featured Instance reward boxes.

Housing
Traditional housing upkeep is a real-time weekly fee and the consequences are real — an unpaid house locks and can eventually be foreclosed. Upkeep can be prepaid up to 26 weeks ahead, which is the sensible way to stop it being a weekly chore at all.
- prepayablePay or check your housing upkeepPrepay up to 26 weeks and this stops being a weekly task. Only applies to traditional housingReward Keeps the house unlocked
