Guild Wars 2's annual Halloween festival returns to Lion's Arch and the Mad Realm. Every two hours Mad King Thorn runs a "Mad King says" game in Lion's Arch that pays keys to his treasures; the Mad King's Labyrinth has trick-or-treat bags and bosses including the Grand High Viscount of Candy Corn and the Labyrinthine Horror; the Mad King's Clock Tower jumping puzzle returns alongside a slower Stopped Clock Tower; Ascent to Madness pits you against Mad King Thorn; and the Mad King's Raceway offers mount time trials and races, with rental mounts. Reaper's Rumble and Lunatic Inquisition are back as minigames.
How to accessUse the Invitation to the Mad Realm from Magister Tassi in your in-game mail. Lion's Arch is the hub — portals from every major city for level 35+ or any expansion owner; otherwise use the haunted doors in Shaemoor or Smokestead, guarded by Lunatic Boatmasters.
