NA resets 10:00 UTC, EU 03:00 UTC. Crafting writs follow the same reset.

Core dailies

The ones worth doing on every character you actively play. Writs and Riding training are per character, not per account.

  • Daily Crafting Writs — up to 7 per character
Blacksmithing, Clothing, Woodworking, Enchanting, Alchemy, Provisioning and Jewelry Crafting. The best routine source of gold, materials, surveys and master writs in the game.
Reward Gold, materials, surveys, master writs, upgrade materials
  • Train Riding Skill on each character
Speed, Stamina or Carry Capacity, once per cooldown. Character-specific, so it wants doing on everyone you are developing.
  • First Random Dungeon of the day
Activity Finder. Worth it for the first-of-day bonus, especially while farming Transmute Crystals or levelling.
  • First Random Battleground of the day
Activity Finder first-of-day reward. Note the Battleground structure is in flux — three-team Battlegrounds return permanently with Update 51 on September 28.
  • Undaunted Pledges — up to 3 per character
From level 45. Maj al-Ragath, Glirion the Redbeard and Urgarlag Chief-bane. Run Veteran or Hard Mode where you can for the extra Undaunted Keys.
  • Infinite Archive — Replication Elimination
The repeatable tied to defeating Tho'at Replicanum. Worth keeping up while farming Archival Fortunes, class sets, leads or collectibles.
  • Tales of Tribute dailies
The PvE and PvP Tribute objectives, if you are farming Tribute rewards — the daily purses and coffers hang off these.
  • Collect Hireling mail
Characters with the crafting Hireling passives. Rank 3 hirelings now deliver within the normal daily structure rather than needing the old twice-a-day login pattern.
  • Use your Fence and Launder limits
Both reset daily. Relevant to Thieves Guild farming and straightforward gold generation.
  • Collect Remains-Silent supplies
Dark Brotherhood characters, once per day once unlocked.

Guild and faction dailies

One each, and they send you across the map — worth batching with whatever zone you are already working.

  • Fighters Guild daily
The assigned Dark Anchor / Dolmen objective.
  • Mages Guild daily
    The assigned Public Dungeon objective.
  • Undaunted delve daily
Separate from the dungeon pledges — this one sends you to a specified delve.
  • Thieves Guild Heist
One reward opportunity a day. Hit the optional objectives and time requirement for the best tier.
  • Thieves Guild repeatable jobs
Tip Board and related jobs, for Thieves Guild progression.
  • Dark Brotherhood Sacrament
One per day — ZOS confirms the limit. Optional objectives improve the reward.

Season One Favors

Added July 8 and current content rather than old expansion dailies. Freerunner posting boards in each Alliance hand these out, and each Alliance storyline has 20 unique daily quests — 60 unique Favor stories across three Alliance characters.

  • Aldmeri Dominion Favor
  • Daggerfall Covenant Favor
  • Ebonheart Pact Favor

Zone dailies — pick what you need

ESO has far more repeatable zone quests than anyone should run in a day, and the cap is 100 repeatable completions per character per day. Do not treat this as a checklist to clear — target the zones whose motifs, furnishing plans, set pieces, leads, achievements or collectibles you actually want. The rows below are the hubs, not individual quests.

  • Craglorn
    Delve, group-area and world-event repeatables.
  • Imperial City
Six district dailies. Strong while farming Tel Var, IC achievements or event rewards.
  • Wrothgar
    World Boss and Delve dailies.
  • Hew's Bane and Gold Coast
Thieves Guild repeatables and Heists; Dark Brotherhood Sacraments and related repeatables.
  • Vvardenfell
Hall of Justice World Boss and Delve quests, Ashlander Hunt and Ashlander Relic dailies.
  • Clockwork City
World Boss, Delve and the unlocked Brass Fortress repeatables.
  • Summerset
World Boss, Delve and Abyssal Geyser dailies.
  • Murkmire
    World Boss and Delve repeatables.
  • Northern Elsweyr
World Boss, Delve and Dragon Hunt dailies.
  • Southern Elsweyr
World Boss, Delve, Dragon Hunt and Dragonguard repeatables — plus any unlocked Dragonguard supply rewards.
  • Western Skyrim
World Boss, Delve and Harrowstorm dailies.
  • The Reach
World Boss, Delve and Harrowstorm repeatables.
  • Blackwood
    World Boss and Delve dailies.
  • Fargrave and the Deadlands
    World Boss and Delve dailies.
  • High Isle
World Boss, Delve and Volcanic Vent dailies.
  • Galen
World Boss, Delve and Volcanic Vent dailies.
  • Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha
World Boss, Delve and Bastion Nymic content.
  • West Weald
World Boss, Delve and Mirrormoor Incursion dailies.
  • Solstice — west and east
Delve, boss and regional quests. The Siege Camp quests from the Writhing Wall storyline remain available after that event ended.
  • Glenumbra — new Thieves Guild dailies
From the Daggerfall Outlaws Refuge and the new Thieves Den, once the Season One storyline "Codex Caper" is underway.
Weekly29

Resets Tuesday — NA 10:00 UTC, EU 03:00 UTC.

Tamriel Tome — the priority

ESO's primary weekly account-level reward system, and effectively the replacement for the old Weekly Endeavors.

  • Complete your five Weekly Challenges · pass →
Five are normally offered each week, awarding Tome Points that unlock pages and rewards.
  • Use rerolls on challenges you will not do
Five free rerolls a week, and unused ones accumulate up to the system cap — so there is no reason to sit on a challenge you have no intention of clearing.
  • Check your Seasonal Challenges
These run alongside the weekly set rather than replacing it.

Trials

Weekly quest coffers, one per Trial you care about. Crimson Veldt joins the pool with Update 51 on September 28 — a 12-player Trial set in the Hunting Grounds with mounted combat.

  • Aetherian Archive
  • Hel Ra Citadel
  • Sanctum Ophidia
  • Maw of Lorkhaj
  • Halls of Fabrication
  • Asylum Sanctorium
  • Cloudrest
  • Sunspire
  • Kyne's Aegis
  • Rockgrove
  • Dreadsail Reef
  • Sanity's Edge
  • Lucent Citadel
  • Ossein Cage
  • Trial of the Week
Only if you are chasing leaderboard mail. NA week runs Tuesday 10:00 UTC to Monday 22:00 UTC — note it CLOSES twelve hours before the next reset, so the last Monday evening is already too late.

Leaderboards — optional

Score pushing and leaderboard reward mail. Genuinely optional rather than normal progression.

  • Maelstrom Arena
  • Dragonstar Arena
  • Blackrose Prison
  • Vateshran Hollows
  • Infinite Archive score progression

Weekly vendors

Three rotating stocks, on two different schedules — the weekend pair and the Tuesday one.

  • The Golden — Adhazabi Aba-daro
Cyrodiil, weekends only. Rotating dungeon and monster-set gear and jewelry, for gold or Alliance Points.
  • Luxury Furnisher — Zanil Theran
    Weekend only. Rotating rare furnishings.
  • Filer Ool — Infinite Archive
Stock rotates every Tuesday and is bought with Archival Fortunes: antiquity leads, monster style pages, treasure maps, Scribing scripts, companion gear, furnishings and collectible fragments.

Guild management — officers only

ESO restored the 30-day Guild Store listing duration in 2026, so individual listings are no longer a weekly chore — but trader assignment still is.

  • Submit and review Guild Trader bids
  • Review sales and listing performance before trader turnover
  • Re-list anything expiring or badly priced
