Conan Exiles — Progression Route
One character, two regions, three progression tracks — from your first stone tool to a two-region empire, in the order that keeps your gear ahead of the content.
What this guide is
Conan Exiles Enhanced changed the single most important thing about planning a playthrough: the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah are no longer separate campaigns. One character moves between both regions without restarting, and a server can host both at once.
So this route is not two guides bolted together. It is one core progression track — survival, iron, steel, hardened steel, star metal, level 60 — with two regional tracks hanging off it that you can dip into in either order, at whatever point your gear supports.
You do not need to finish one map before starting the other. The most effective Enhanced pattern is a main base on one map and an expedition outpost on the other, joined later by Sorcery's Transportory Stone.
Isle of Siptah still requires the DLC. Everything in the core and Exiled Lands tracks works without it.

⭐ The Enhanced change that matters most. Stop treating the two regions as separate campaigns. Adherent of the Outer Dark NPCs move you between them — several exist in the Exiled Lands, and Siptah has return transport including an Adherent at the Camp of the Castaways.
